Post 7: my bucket list

I’ve never done a bucket list, but I think that I’m going to do one when I go home. But I always have dispersed ideas in my head of things that I would like to do. In my list I would include practice volleyball, being vegetarian, and go for a trip with my best friend (I hope I can done this activities the next year). The other things of my list I would do it in a long-term, like participate in an exchange program, buy a car and a house (in Santiago and the other one at the beach), learn Italian and travel to the most beautiful places in the world (maybe reduce it to the eight wonders of the world). Also I would like to play the guitar and learn how to play chess.
I’ve done some things of my list but halfway. I’ve practice volleyball the past year in my home town but just for 2 months and I leave it because it was summer. In other part, I’m not hundred percent vegetarian, I just don’t eat red met.
I think that the most difficult things to do would be those that involve spend big amounts of money, like buying a car, a house and travel. The last one is my priority so I’m gonna to save money for a long time to make it come true.
I would like to share these activities with my close friends and with myself. One of my goals is doing a travel alone like Julia Roberts in “Eat, Pray, Love”. If I have a partnership I would like to do it with him too.

Post 6: Postgraduate studies

The idea of taking a course after I graduate is not in my future projects yet, because I’m focus to finish my actual career, and I guess I’m gonna consider that in my last years at college. Maybe I would like to have a master in some area of journalism but I’m not sure yet.
I would like to take an English course but in other country, like England or Canada. I will do that course because I want to improve my pronunciation and speaking. I really want to learn that and it will be better if I can travel to a country where the people speak in english. Also, I think that it’s so important that I can learn that language, because it would be a tool for my future work as a journalist.
I would like to do another languages course, like Italian, French and German, but my priority is taking an English course, because it would be easier for me and I wouldn’t taking a long time to learn the language.
Another thing that I would like to do is taking a gastronomic course, but at the same time I will be working. I wanna know the basic meals and how to prepare some foreign food, like Arabian an Asian food. But the course of foreign food will be more entertaining if I do it in other country.

Post 5: My future job

I would like to work as a journalist (that's maybe obvious), and I imagine it like a thing that I would do for the rest of my life.  I think that the road to get a job in this work area it will be hard, because there is a lot of people looking for a job as a journalist and they aren’t founding one. I see that as a huge problem. Also, in this society applies the “having contacts” rule, making more difficult the situation of applying for a job in a regular way, because the bosses give work to his relatives and people who they know.
I would like to work outdoor and indoor, because I’d like to work at radio and a newspaper, maybe having conversations with politicians and generate debates, and going to the streets to talk with the people about topical issues that concern them.
I think that travel around the world is my biggest dream, and it would be better if I would get to travel thanks to my job. I think I can do that if I work as a correspondent.
I don’t care about the salary now, and when I choose this career I never thought about it. I think that you don’t to warry so much about the salary, it is important for surviving but I guess that is more important think about doing something that fill your soul and make you happy.
Currently I’m studying journalism, but I would like to do a major in political sciences.

Post 4: my favorite book.

My favorite book of all times is "The Hunger Games" and it trilogy, wich is "On Fire" and "Sinsajo". The first time I read the book I've was 14 years old, and I read it like a freak; I could'nt stop reading, even I read in classes. The Hunger Games was very addictive. I read the second book of the trilogy after I saw the movie, because I didn't have enough money to buy it. A friend of mine had the book and I borrowed it. Then, my parents gave me the final book of the trilogy at christmas. I recommend it because it has a good history and  it's an easy book to read because is entertaining.

I'm open to read any kind of books, but my preferences are the utopic novels, books of investigation, thriller and maybe romantic books.

My favorite author (for now) is Stephen King. I started to read his books a while ago, and they are very interesting, because he keep you caught in every page. I read "It" and "The Shining", and now I want to read "Cujo".

The last book I read was called "La Mujer Rota" written by Simone de Beauvoir. I didn't finished yet because I started to read it when we started the classes, so my free time was dedicated to read my college's book. I would like to pick up that reading at holidays.

Post 3: My favorite tv series

My favourite tv series of all time is “Friends”. I wasn’t born yet when this series was on air, but I get to know it thanks to my older sister, because she always watched it and I started to watch friends with her. Since that moment I never stop to watch it. I like this series because is funny and I like the different stories of the group. Also, this series help me with my english practice, because I see it with subtitles and audio in english.
My preferences are diverse, because one day I can watch a funny series and other day I’m going to watch a drama series. It depends of my mood and if I have good references about the series. I think that the type of series that I watch the less is anime.
The most recent series that I watched was “13 reasons why”. I follow that series since its release, and recently Netflix upload the third season, but I’m not finished yet! I definitely recommend this series because you can reflect about things that other series didn’t show so vividly, like violation, suicide and bullying at a school. It’s hard to watch because of the images that appears, but it worth it.

Post 2 (week 4) the best concert ever

The first concert I went to was of the boy band "One Direction". They played at Estadio Nacional on May 1st, 2014 and I went with four cousins and two aunts. I was 13 years old in that year and I was a huge fan of One Direction since I was 11, and when I found out that they will come to Chile it was the greatest new I've ever heard. I was anxious about it, because I didn´t know if I'm going to catch a ticket, owing to the amount of people that wanted to go to the concert. But I've had a happy ending: my parents bought me a ticket and I felt the happiest girl in the whole world.
I was far from the stage, because I went to gallery, but I didn't care about the distance. The concert was AMAZING, and I think that it was the best day of my life (thinking like a kid). I sang all of the songs and I jumped, yelled and also cried. They ended the show with fireworks and it was awesome. I really enjoyed the show and is the best memory of my childhood. But the concert had a funny fact: the next day of the concert I went to ask for my ticket, to keep it and have it for a memory, but it was lost!

Post 1 (week 3) A country I'd like to visit

I would like to visit a lot of places all around the world, but the country I'd like to visit the most is England, because aesthetically is a beautiful place with so many tourist sites, for example The Big Ben, the stonehenge, the Buckingham Palace and the hyde park. Apart from travel the city, I wanna go to England to practice my english and improve it. Also, I'd like to know people of all nationalities and learn about the culture of each one, like. Also, I want to know how the English people celebrate they national holidays.
I would like to study in there and maybe go in a exchange programme during my stay at the university. If that option doesn't work I'm gonna work in Chile to save a little bit of  money and then I'm gonna travel to England and see if there's a chance to work in a newspaper practising my profession. That would be such a dream come true.

Practice post

Our generation was born at a global society and we have incorporated the technology in every daily activity. We use our cellphones, most of the time, reviewing our social media and we waste a lot of time using Whatsapp, Instagram, Facebook, and others.
I think that isn't safe to give any personal information on websites, because we don't know who is watching our information or our photos. All of my social media are private, and I don't plubish all the things that I do or the places I go. But I have to admit that I spend a lot of time using Instagram, that's my favorite social media because most of my friends use the same app, and I like to watch memes and take selfies. I don't like to share my location in real time on instagram or facebook because I think that is unnecessary and I dont't like to expose myself in that way.
